Engineering at Maryland magazine is published twice a year for alumni and friends of the A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland. In 2021, I led a major redesign of the publication to coincide with the introduction of the School of Engineering’s new dean. The redesigned magazine features a cleaner layout with expanded white space, a variety of imagery, including illustrations and infographics, to increase visual interest, and a wider page size to stand out from other engineering magazines.
